Introduction
Over the last decade, the WA Metropolitan State Emergency Service has run an annual competition known as the “Metro Challenge”. These competitions tested the skills of SES volunteers, which included Navigation, Communications, First Aid, Casualty Handling, General Rescue, On-road Driving and many more.
Unfortunately the Metro Challenge failed to run in 2012 and 2013, but we are working hard to bring it back this year. As a pre-cursor to the State Rescue Competition, this event will give metropolitan SES units the opportunity to test participants, before they represent their region at the State Rescue Competition.
By practiced their SES skills, the volunteers improve their teamwork. This results in better services during storm, fire and search incidents in your local communities
Please come along and show your support for the volunteers that represent your suburb. Cheer from the sideline, make a donation, become a member yourself.
Support us to support you.
