Hi All.
Just a reminder we are having an open day for the public to view our new facilities, and look at what we do as SES Members. this is on 10/2/2013 between 10-2pm At the Emergency Services Facility on Jack Mann Oval, Bishop Road, Middle Swan
We will be showing off our building, vehicles, equipment and experience on the day, as well as having a sausage sizzle, bouncy castle for the kids(including big ones). There will also be other Emergency Services there on the day such as St John Ambulance, Bush Fire Brigades, Salvation Army etc, so here hoping we don’t have any big bush fires on together that they need to go fight.
The main two reasons behind all the effort that goes into an open day is to pass on the knowledge about what the different Emergency Services do. Hopefully as an offset to this you will decide to come and volunteer with one or more of the services. So if your up for a challenge come down and see us.
As an extension to this we will be doing an SES induction day later in the month to get those interested in and up to speed as soon as possible. So either get in contact ASAP, or pay us a visit this weekend and put your name down. Remember the majority of Emergency Services members are volunteers and we would not be around with them.
Look forward to seeing you there
